The full form of CO is Circle Officer, he works under Revenue and Land Reforms. His post comes under Group B Placement and his main work is to make law and order. He solves various problems of the people and makes them aware about the schemes. He supervises the work of police personnel and maintains peace. Circle officers also look after the work of their circle. To become a circle officer, you have to pass the UPSC exam, after which IAS and IPS are appointed.  Their main responsibilities are like handling criminal cases and looking after land related activities etc. They do various works to improve the lives of the residents. The age to become an officer is mandatory to be between 21 and 44 years. CO has the post of an assistant administration officer and a police officer. How to become CO?

Candidates interested in becoming CO must have a graduation degree from a recognized university because candidates who have got a graduation degree can prepare for this post. After this, the candidate can join for this post. You can apply for the state CO post through PCS exam. The Central Ministry also conducts an exam for the post of CO which you have to pass and after that, you are allotted your circle as per your qualification which comes under you and you have to handle its workload. Eligibility

To become a CO, the candidate must have passed graduation from a recognized university.

Age Limit
